On the 6th March, parent company RSG went to the ‘TK Maxx and Homesense National Princes Trust Awards 2018’, hosted at the London Palladium.

The event celebrated the winners of all the 10 regional award ceremonies held last year with ‘the most outstanding and inspirational stories from across the UK’ being honoured.

RSG played a part in sponsoring the Bristol leg of the regional awards – sponsoring the ‘Young Ambassador of the Year’ award which saw Chloe Causer win.

‘The work The Prince’s Trust does never fails to inspire us at RSG and these awards were a real testament to that.

The young people remained the focus at this fantastic event and you coudn’t help be moved by the incredible stories of each young person, overcoming issues such as abuse, drug addiction, homelessness and depression, and making a success of their lives.

We are proud to partner with The Prince’s Trust as our chosen charity and hope to help them change the lives of many more young people in the future.’

The Princes Trust was set up to support and enable young people aged 11-30 who struggle with school or employment to have increased opportunity in society, providing them with the necessary tools to help them gain confidence and create a greater sense of stability. The Prince’s Trust aim their programmes at those who are those dealing with complex realities such as mental health issues and homelessness.

In June 2017 Princes Trust became RSG’s official charity sponsor and since then they have hosted several employability days and fundraisers such as a Halloween themed day at work.
